Viviscal Reviews of the Hair Care System for Men and Women
You probably saw the television infomercial of Viviscal and have headed to the internet to find out the truth about this product’s performance. Does it really work as good as they say? What do real, every day people have to say about Viviscal? We decided to take a closer look at this product and discuss it here for our readers. Many consumers with thinning hair, both men and women, have become extremely skeptical about products that claim to solve their problems. Read our full report to see what our experts have found.
Viviscal itself is a dietary supplement pill, designed to be taken daily to promote hair growth “from within.” With every purchase they also provide you with a host of “free” products, depending on which promotion you select. Most offers come with a Growth Densifying Shampoo and a Growth Densifying. Growth Densifying is basically another term for thickening. So its shampoo and conditioner for thinning hair, not any ground breaking formula. The final free gift is a Leave in Elixir. Designed to thicken the follicles and hair giving you the appearance of fuller looking hair. At least until you shower.
Most consumers with thinning hair have reported feeling less confident with a dietary supplement as their treatment for hair loss. Because supplements are regulated differently than prescription medications, it is possible for supplement manufacturer to make big promises that their product may or may not deliver. That does not mean that Viviscal doesn’t work, but it does mean that there is some well founded skepticism surrounding supplements for hair loss.
Viviscal does seem to be a good value for consumers. Depending on which option you choose, you are able to get 4 different products for roughly $40 a month. Average prices, industry wide, are a few dollars more than that. Maybe $5-$10 dollars, but every little bit counts. Provided that the products work as well as you need and want them too.
Information Reported Online
We were somewhat surprised by just how much information there was online when we searched for Viviscal. It seems the television commercial has generated a good bit of interest and internet marketers are publishing information for those interested to read. There are a variety of opinions published online. Some customers claim to be fairly pleased with the product combinations, others are less than impressed.
For the most part, the results seem to be mixed. There was a large number of billing complaints and customer service complaints, enough that warrant a mention here. The main thing seems to be that Viviscal offers a “Automatic Delivery” and “Automatic Billing” of their products. So when you purchase, be aware that you need to contact them back and cancel future orders if you do not wish to be billed again automatically. The Viviscal Website DOES clearly state all of this, but some consumers do not read and then make complaints. We don’t feel Viviscal should be at fault for any of these complaints. Read small print please….always.
Viviscal offers two main options for their consumers. The Viviscal Extra Strength Entry Kit is the first option and the option you may have seen on TV. $39.99 a month buys you 60-90 day supply of the products. You get the dietary supplements, the shampoo and the conditioner. The second Viviscal promotion is the Viviscal Extra Strength Silver Kit. With this option you get the Dietary Supplement, the Shampoo, the Conditioner and the Hair Elixir. This option costs $49.99 a month for the same 60-90 day supply. Both options come with Automatic Billing.
In a Nut Shell
Vivscal is a brand that is catching the eye of consumers with its Television Commercial. Big money marketing has always been effective, and Viviscal is cashing in on those benefits. Problem is that marketing dollars does not always equal and effective product. The reviews and reports we found on line seem to suggest that the products themselves are not as effective as the manufacturer may have suggested. Dietary supplements take longer to have effects on thinning hair than topical treatments do, and we urge consumers to understand that fact before spending money.
Many times we make up our minds before we ever read any information about a product. We caution you to slow down. We understand that your thinning hair is an emotional thing, as much as you want quick results, you want results. Rushing into a product, giving it 4-6 months worth time to see how it does only to find its not working is frustrating.
We recommend you continue your search, read the other consumer reports on our website. Look over our comparison charts and top ten lists. This information can be a short cut to help you find the product that is best for your unique needs. With a little patience, you can find the right product for you.
