Bayer Pro Ultra Omega 3 Reviews
There is little doubt that you can trust the Bayer brand name. Their products have been a staple for consumers for generations. While finding a brand that you can trust is important, but be sure not to assume that they are the best product for you and your loved ones. This Bayer Omega 3 passes the first test, now lets take a closer look.
When we researched the website, we were thrilled to see all the information on the website for consumers to read. Information is key, and Bayer does a good job to inform customers, or create demand for their products, depending on how you look at it. Either way, they take the extra step consumers need. Good job so far.
Supplement Facts and Dosage
When we got to the Supplement Facts, we got our First Red Flag. This is an extremely low dose of Omega 3. At roughly 500 mg of Omega 3 Fatty acids, it is one of the lower concentrated supplements on the market. Sure it comes in the a small, easy to swallow soft gel, but taking two of them may not be enough to realize the real heart benefits of Omega 3. 360 mg EPA and 140 mg of DHA are the details if you are interested. This was disappointing.
The directions state to take 2 soft gels daily. While this will certainly provide you with some benefit, truth is that there are others that will deliver a stronger, more efficient dose of Omega 3.
Mixed opinions to say the least. On one hand, Bayer is doing a fantastic job of informing customers of the importance of these supplements. On the other hand, they are delivering a fairly light dose of the Omega 3.
Yes, the soft gels are easier to swallow than some larger capsules on the market, but sacrificing the effectiveness of the supplement is hardly worth the convenience. Again mixed feelings.
Overall, we applaud Bayer for informing customers in the fashion that they did, however we simply just can’t recommend its use over other products, from equally trusted sources. Truth is, there are better products on the market. You may not recognize the brands as well, but you won’t care once you realize the benefits of their supplements. We suggest you keep looking.
